Henry

A comedian since the age of 16, Sir Lenny Henry has risen from a star of children’s television to one of the country’s most admired comedians. Over the years, he has also demonstrated his talent as a writer, singer, radio DJ. Lenny is also one of the co-creators of Comic Relief.

In 2015, Lenny received a knighthood in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for services to drama and charity. Lenny has also received the BAFTA Television: Special Recognition Award in 2016.

He has also won the Monaco Red Cross, The Golden Nymph Award at The Monte Carlo Television Festival, the Radio & Television Industry Club Award for BBC Personality of the Year, The Golden Rose at the Monteux Television Festival and a Lifetime Achievement Award at the British Comedy Awards.
