Malone OBE

Gareth Malone (OBE) has changed the face of choirs through his popular television series, sell-out concert tours and charity singles.

First appearing on British television screens on The Choir in 2006, Gareth embarked on the ultimate challenge–, taking students who had no prior singing experience to China to compete in the World Choir Games.

With the show’s success, Gareth introduced a new version of the show - The Choir: Military Wives. The programmed documented Gareth’s emotional journey as he formed a choir of existing wives and girlfriends whose partner’s had been deployed to Afghanistan.

With their song, Wherever you will go, the Military Wives achieved the number one position the Christmas singles chart show.  

Gareth also achieved the second number one single for his BBC Children in Need song in 2014 with the All-Star Choir.
