Indian Female VO

Sought after for its international appeal and its ability to fit into the global scenario, Rupa's voice has an intrinsic quality of clarity, sophistication and resonance.  Classy and credible – it’s a voice that's perfectly suited for the project you have in mind.

Rupa specialises in English with a dash of British – more in popular demand these days as an international accent or a global/worldly sound, and she is also proficient in two Indian languages - Hindi and Kannada. Rupa's training began with Khodus Wadia in Mumbai and after that she had the good fortune to study with well known voice actor and theatre/film veteran, Alice Elliott at New York University (NYU), the dynamic voiceover coach - Nancy Wolfson of Braintracks Audio, as well as with noted authors and voiceover gurus - James Alburger and Penny Abshire.

She has studied Audio book techniques with Marc Cashman, and Bruce Kitovich at Edge Studio, New York.  Rupa's home studio in Jersey City is where she spend most of my time breathing life into words. The setup includes the Rode NT1A microphone, Presonus Tube-Pre pre-amp with the MBox 2 Mini Interface.  The Sweetwater Creation Station quiet PC and Adobe Audition help to make it all come together.  She can also commute to studios in the tri-state area.

For ISDN sessions, bookings can be arranged at a fully equipped studio for a reasonable fee (Fee to be borne by client) and audio files will be delivered in the format of your choice via FTP or cloud services.
